About this Class

Get moving and hear the lesser-known stories of Kingston communities on a cycling tour! Our experienced bike guide leads you through the Swamp Ward neighbourhood, over Waaban Crossing, and down through Barriefield, so you can relax and enjoy the ride while exploring the connection between community and place. Bring your own bike. Helmets and pre-registration are required. We recommend bringing water, snacks, sun protection, high visibility gear and appropriate clothing. This tour is weather-dependent and may be cancelled on short notice. The tour starts at the fountain in Confederation Park (in front of Kingston City Hall) and ends in Market Square. This cycle will be approximately 12.5km long and includes moderate slopes, potentially busy roads and paved terrain.
