Have you already dipped your knife into greenwood spoon carving and are looking for a welcoming space to keep carving alongside others? If you’re craving time, rhythm, conversation, and the simple satisfaction of shaping wood with your hands, this might be your place. The Greenwood Spoon Carving Club is an untaught, social carving circle for folks with prior spoon carving or green woodworking experience. It’s a chance to slow down, sit together, and carve—sharing ideas, techniques, and quiet focus in a supportive, inclusive environment rooted in community and connection. What to Expect: This is a relaxed, untaught gathering for participants who have completed an Introduction to Greenwood Spoon Carving Workshop or who have experience with greenwood carving and sharp-edged hand tools. While there is no formal instruction, participants can expect supportive supervision and shared knowledge around: -Safe tool use -Spoon layout and design -Roughing out blanks -Finish carving -Treating completed spoons Carvers at any intermediate or advanced stage will find inspiration in the work and approaches of those around them.
