WinterLight (Sensory Friendly): 9am-10:30am Time Slot Celebrate the season at WinterLight, a day of crafting and discovery at the MacLachlan Woodworking Museum! This year's theme, 'Warm & Cosy', invites you to explore how animals (including humans) adapt to winter's chill. Engage with hands-on crafting stations and nature education booths as you learn about burrows, fur, log cabins, traditional rag rugs and much more. Please note that this is the event’s ‘Sensory Friendly’ time slot. There will be reduced visitor numbers and lower sound levels to create a more accessible experience. Important Details: - Online pre-registration is required. ‘At-the-door’ tickets will not be available. - Access to the museum will only be available during your selected time slot. We recommend arriving at the start of your time slot to make the most of your visit and fully enjoy each workshop. -This event is designed for curious minds of all ages. Participants under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult guardian. -Please remember to wear closed-toed shoes, as this event will take place both indoors and outdoors and will involve the use of hand tools. Dress warmly to ensure a comfortable experience!
