It’s time to become water scientists! In this session, participants will head outside to Lake Ontario to observe, explore, and test real lake water. Children will learn how scientists study water and what water testing can tell us about the health of our lake. Through guided observation and hands-on exploration, Water Warriors will learn how we can look after our water and why monitoring water quality is an important part of protecting our environment. This program takes place at the PumpHouse Museum. Portions of the program will take place outdoors and will run rain or shine, so please dress for the weather. Designed for children ages 4–7. Younger siblings are always welcome to attend with an accompanying caregiver.
