About this Class

Get ready to squish, shape, and sculpt your very own dinosaur creation! In Sculptasaurus, participants will dive into the world of 3D art using bright, colourful foam clay to design a one-of-a-kind dinosaur. Led by local artist Courtney Nicolas, participants will use their hands (and a few simple tools!) to explore exciting techniques for creating textures, scales, spikes, and shapes, while experimenting with bold colours and playful patterns. This hands-on program encourages creativity, imagination, and lots of artistic exploration. No two dinosaurs will look the same—each participant will leave with a unique, prehistoric masterpiece to proudly show off. Perfect for curious creators who love getting hands-on and a little messy! All children must be accompanied by a parent or guardian for the duration of the program. Adults do not need to register or purchase a spot to attend. This program is ideal for children ages 4 and up. Younger siblings are also welcome to attend with the support of an accompanying adult, and are encouraged to participate alongside their family. Warning: Dinosaurs may be colourful, silly, spiky, or totally unlike anything seen before!
